GADDACHUKI BORDER TO BE CLOSED FOR 72 HOURS

Kanchanpur, Nov. 13: The western border point of the country, Gaddachauki, is to be closed for 72 hours for the upcoming election to the Constituent Assembly (CA).

The border point is going to be closed before 72 hours of the start of voting to hold the CA election in a free and fearless manner. Chief District Officer, Parsuram Aryal, said that the decision has been made for closing the border point on the basis of agreement reached between high ranking security officials of Nepal and India.

Aryal said arrangement has been made for operating ambulances and vehicles of other essential services in agreement with the security personnel of both the countries deployed at the border point though it would be closed in view of election security.
